This niche Swiss private bank is looking to appoint an Investment Advisor to work from their Pfaffikon private banking department. The Investment advisor is charged with developing the business for the banks range of financial services products primarily targeting central
German speaking Swiss, German and Austrian High Net worth businessmen and private investors. There is a particular focus upon the Swiss retail sector and the client portfolio is orientated accordingly.
As Investment Adviser you will provide the highest level of investment and asset management to your portfolio of customers. The key focus will be the marketing of additional personalized financial and private banking services. Many of these will be long standing clients of the bank and it will be your challenge to derive the highest revenue return whilst producing the treasured discretionary service they have grown to love. Key to your success as their Investment Advisor will be to match your customers with the most appropriate banking options.
It is expected you will have to create individual investment strategies for your private clients and acquire new customers across the retail segment. These can and will include investment-related advice, asset protection, asset trading, providing specialized project financing solutions, offering insurance related services, planning retirement and passing wealth on to future generations. Due to property heavy nature of many of the banks clients from the retail sector as Investment Adviser you can expect to spend a significant amount of your time advising on
optimizing real estate portfolios, capitalization against these types of assets and managing these.
To be considered for the Investment Adviser opening you will:-
- Require several years of banking experience, including a mandatory period in the investment advisory / asset management.
- It would be beneficial if you had some prior experience of managing property and real estate backed assets.
- You can expect to be asked to demonstrate a good knowledge of analytical techniques and investment strategies.
- You must have fluent German and French.
