This international business consultancy practice is looking to recruit a Senior Financial Services Manager to join its
Mergers & Acquisitions advisory group. This exciting Swiss banking job is based out of Zurich, however the team also operates in London and Frankfurt, so you can expect to work across all three locations.
The Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) advisory department is a cross European business unit which provides project delivery services to the insurance, banking and financial service sectors. The team is comprised of senior experienced industry heavy weights and is widely seen as one of the leading sources of advisory services for M&A deals.
As Senior Financial Services Manager you will be heavily involved in the execution and planning for the delivery of high value, high profile mergers and corporate purchases. You can expect to be involved in the whole process from leading all new business pitches to potential clients, right through to final project negotiations. Within the duration of most projects you will, in this well paid
banking job in Zurich, undertake most multidisciplinary aspects, including building client relationships, marketing and creating a pipeline of future deals. To succeed it is necessary to develop an extensive and wide ranging network of contacts amongst the leading industry players in the acquisitions space and M&A banking teams. Needless to say it will be extremely beneficial for your application if you have such a network already in place.
For serious consideration for the Senior Financial Services Manager vacancy you should have at least eight years prior experience in Merger and Acquisition advisory – including time as the lead consultant / project manager. Alternatively if you have a similar level of expertise in the construction of complex multi partner corporate financing deals we would be interested in your application. Coupled with this practical experience you will be a graduate with outstanding team leadership, presentation and communication skills. Linguistically you must be able to work in both English and German to the highest levels. It will be beneficial if you have other European languages and are familiar with the main working cultures in the EU.
