The company is currently re-domiciling its overall business to Zug, close to Zurich. It will still retain its global network of offices and remain focused upon its core business of providing world class offering insurance and reinsurance solutions to large European and multi-national companies.

To achieve this they are leaders in the creation of flexible and innovative insurance solutions and have a global team of experienced and client-focused underwriters to offer this flexibility, creativity and commitment.
A core business sector is the Casualty business and it is their aim to use the move to Switzerland to develop this business.
As such the Senior Underwriter is tasked with growing the organisations book in the German market with a focus on developing a primary casualty book of business along with lower excess layers.
This initiative goes hand in hand with a business desire to move slightly away from the company’s traditional client base of global multinationals towards a more diverse portfolio in the German speaking world.
Combined with this the Senior Underwriter will handle existing accounts where they are issuing or following German language policies.

- To be considered for the Senior Underwriter vacancy you should have at least five years experience in underwriting experience in casualty lines.
- You will be fluent in German and English and applicants who also have Scandinavian languages will be welcomed.
