This Swiss registered private bank and enterprise financing organization is looking to hire a Vice President of Project Funding to help them take advantage of a series of multi million dollar project funding opportunities the bank has been invited to manage. They also see this activity as one that would benefit many of their other private banking clients.
The Vice President of Project Funding will drive the banks project funding team and also handle a number of acquisition transactions
for the bank. It will also involve organizing, structuring, underwriting and completing all collateralization analysis on a number of multi million-dollar deals. In essence the Vice President of Project Funding takes the lead client advisor role to a number of the bank top customers. In the majority of cases these transactions have principal offerings in excess of $100M. Your remit and that of the Global Project Funding team is to handle asset allocation risk analyses, fund raising, fund management and business projection and forecasting
. With regards to M & A activity these can and will include the full range of working capital assistance, merger integration and optimization, divestitures and carve outs and valuation services.
To be successful in that the Vice President of Project Funding will co-ordinating with the other Project Finance team members, legal and finance staff and external advisers as needed. There is a full internal team of experts and M & A Lawyers, which are all direct reports. External resources can and will be provided as and when required. It is expected that the Vice President of Project Funding will maintain at least three external fee based lawyer relationships to help facilitate the departmentâs activities.
The key ability the bank are seeking is solid transaction experience and capability in project finance and/or M & A. The successful candidate will have successfully carried out many of these kinds of transactions before or being heavily involved in undertaking disposals and acquisitions either as an in-house M&A specialist at a corporation or private equity investor or as a corporate finance adviser in an investment banking, accounting or legal environment.
This well paid vacancy will require extensive knowledge to be able to advise internal colleagues and external clients on the full aspects of project finance transactions including pre-deal due diligence, Also with regards to M & A activity the Vice President of Project Funding will need to be able to provide advice on merger integration, divestiture and/or separation planning and restructuring or turn-around situations.
To be considered for the Vice President of Project Funding you should fit the following profile:
- A bachelors degree and Masters of Business Administration preferred.
- Approximately 10 years of related work experience from a banking background.
- Must be willing and able to travel, when necessary
- Strong verbal and written abilities
- Strong multitasking and project management skills
- Experience in supervising staff on engagements
